We woke up to read "Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar" and ended the day reading "Hand, Hand, Fingers Thumb". In between the reading of books though we baked. The sugar cookies were mainly for fun, capturing Aubrey's eating from the spoon and putting in back in the bowl - Travis says that's the chef's secret to cooking. We tried a couple of new recipes and well... I STILL don't have the baking patience! One recipe isn't too bad and don't taste like dust, as Travis refers to sugar cookies "eating compacted dust"! That was our topic of discussion. :-) At any rate we had a fun day indoors awaiting for the "big storm" to hit. Enjoy the pics... a couple of taking breaks throughout the day.
