North Dakota State Fair fun

This past weekend we ventured to the ND State Fair, Aubrey and my second time attending and Karli's first. It was a fun weekend and much needed for all of us to get out of town and play in the humidity! Friday night we swam like fish and relaxed, Travis joined us after he got off work and up to Minot. Saturday we went to the Roosevelt Zoo then to the Fair. Grandma and the girls headed back to Bismarck in the afternoon after going on rides, playing games and of course eating very healthy fair food (KIDDING). Travis and I did some birthday shopping at the Fair for Karli, I know at the Fair how creative! I was excited to go see "Sugarland" again in concert with a friend and finally got to meet her friends in person from that area. It was a pretty short concert but still good to be there live! Travis and Mr. W hungout in the Flickertail Gardens while the girls were at the concert. We didn't know many at the Gardens but who we did see we had lots of good laughs with previous coworker/friends from UTTC. (THANK YOU TO "B" for tending to Rosco and bucketing out the boat!)

So now time to continue on with enjoying the rest of our summer before school starts and continue to be faithful at "blogging".
