Sorry no picture at this time as I'm on the laptop with a limited amount of photo opportunities. A good friend did the "top ten for the year" so I'm copying the idea. Thanks pal! =o)
1. We got our lake front home in Belcourt sold - it was a lot of work to get the task accomplished. It was a sad but happy event. Lots of family memories were shared there for sure however with our main two people of that property gone things weren't the same anymore going up there.
2. Aubrey lost her first tooth and actually two for the count... with a few loose ones as I type. The suspense of what the tooth fairy will bring is priceless.
3. Karli started Preschool, one of the youngest in her class but she is doing well - she is thoroughly excited to tell us different things she's doing. She's one tired little girl at the end of her days even with napping there.
4. We took a mini family vacation to SD. We had a great time and saw and did so many fun things.
5. Kayla was promoted at Bismarck State College as the Testing & Assessment Coordinator... Learning learning learning!!!!!
6. We had TWO family wedding this past year... Cousins of Kayla's. The girls LOVE weddings now even more!!!!
7. We took the boat out ONCE this year, how sad????? Time was limited with Travis' busy summer schedule and making trips to Belcourt to pack up the rest of the belongings of the grandparents.
8. Travis bought the family yet another toy, a Polaris Ranger last Fall so looking forward to some fun times with that and the 4-wheeler. Sunday afternoon rides? I think so!
9. We sold our house on 13th street TWICE, ha! The first ones fell through, bitter/sweet event guess best to stay with local people but grateful it sold the second time just as fast as the first time it was up for showings.
10. We moved and loving all aspects of this better fit to our lifestyle. Our home is a couple miles out of Bismarck's city limits, 1.5 acres (so the opportunity for some construction too), 4 bedroom, 4 bath AND a triple stall garage. We had no garage for the past 7 years in Bismarck so this alone was a nice upgrade.
This is the McCloud 4's brief update of 2010 in a nutshell... looking forward to what 2011 brings.
